Reducing Manual HR Tasks – Starting from Onboarding

Native Instruments, a leading manufacturer of software and hardware for computer-based audio production and DJing expanded its innovative reach in June 2023 when it joined forces with iZotope, Plugin Alliance, and Brainworx. Together, these companies aim to create fully integrated solutions tailored to every creative task, profession, and skill level.

At Native Instruments, a customer-first attitude is central, extending even to its HR practices, where employees are seen as the primary customers. To ensure consistent and high-quality communication with its employees, the company adopted the Introist HR automation platform.

Marta explains that HR systems often have difficulty communicating with each other, a challenge that Native Instruments also encountered. Finding an HR system with all the desired features is rare, so the HR team was excited to discover Introist. This modern tool connects existing systems and automates HR processes. It simplifies tasks by recognizing different time zones and automatically sending calendar invites and reminders.

Native Instruments began by automating their onboarding process with Introist. New employees are automatically added to the onboarding workflows based on their start date and location. They receive calendar invites for presentations from various departments, team lunches, and more. While some invites are fixed, managers can modify others. Marta appreciates the flexibility Introist offers in tailoring messages, a feature that many HR systems lack.

Introist enables Native Instruments to plan HR activities up to a year in advance. For instance, after completing their first year, new employees automatically receive a satisfaction survey, allowing HR to streamline the process without manual intervention.

Looking ahead, Native Instruments plans to broaden its use of Introist by exploring employee well-being automation, such as sending vacation balance statements and facilitating sick leave reporting. Additionally, they aim to enhance proactive communication by establishing notifications triggered by data regularly reviewed by both managers and employees.
